Tobias Hübinette is a Senior Lecturer at Karlstad University. He is a member of the Research Group for Culture Studies (KuFo) and was previously responsible for the Forte-funded Research Network for Swedish Critical Race and Whiteness Studies and for the Swedish Research Council–funded research project Racializing Sweden: Narrative Constructions of a New Swedishness. His current Swedish Research Council–funded research project is The Swedish r-word: Uses and negotiations of the terms race and racism in contemporary Swedish online and social media discourse (conducted together with Peter Wikström).
