Jamie Figueroa is the author of the critically acclaimed novel Brother, Sister, Mother, Explorer. She is on the faculty of the MFA Creative Writing program at the Institute of American Indian Arts. Her writing has appeared in McSweeney’s, American Short Fiction, Agni, Elle, and Emergence Magazine, among others. Boricua (Afto-Taino) by way of Ohio, Jamie lives in northern New Mexico.
