Belén Martín-Lucas

Belén Martín Lucas teaches in the fields of Postcolonial, Diasporic and Gender Studies at the Universidade de Vigo (Spain), where she coordinates the “Research Feminar Feminisms and Resistance: Theory and Practice”. Her research focuses on the politics of resistance in contemporary postcolonial feminist fiction, looking at the diverse strategies employed in literary works, such as tropes and genres. She examined Alice Munro’s short story cycles in her book Género Literario/Género Femenino: 20 años del ciclo de cuentos en Canadá (1999).
