Catherine Tumber
Catherine Tumber is a historian and journalist. Author of Small, Gritty, and Green: The Promise of America’s Smaller Industrial Cities in a Low-Carbon World, she has worked as a researcher, writer, and editor for Northeastern University’s Dukakis Center for Urban and Regional Policy, the UMass Donahue Institute’s Economic and Public Policy Research Group, and the Massachusetts Institute for a New Commonwealth.
