Michael Ignatieff is a Canadian author, academic, and politician. From 2008 to 2011, he led the Liberal Party of Canada and served as Leader of the Official Opposition. He has held teaching positions at the University of Toronto, the University of Cambridge, the University of Oxford, and Harvard University.
