Richard Howard

Richard Howard (1929–2022) an American poet, literary critic, essayist, teacher, and translator. He won the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry in 1970 and the National Book Award for his 1983 translation of Baudelaire’s Les Fleurs du mal.
